🎵"Oh Christmas tree,
Oh Christams tree"🎶
The modern Christmas tree tradition originated in 16th century Germany, where Christians brought trees into their homes. Evergreen trees were a symbol of life and decorated them during winter festivals. Trees were decorated with gingerbread, nuts and apples. It is said that Martin Luther, protestant reformer, added candles to the evergreen boughs to recreate the sight of stars through the evergreen branches.

🌲🌲🌲First things first.....
What type of tree do you like?
In Washington State where I live, Douglas Fir and Noble Fir are the most popular Christmas trees.

🌲🌲🌲Have you considered artificial?
They are so realistic nowadays. We started putting up an artificial tree when we began spending Christmas at our cabin. We put it up at Thanksgiving, so when we return for the holiday, it is ready to go. I think we have used our 10ft artificial tree for 7 years now.
We decided to shop in the investment category, maybe that's why it is holding up this long.
